Do I need an appointment to bring my pet to Hat City Vets?
Appointments are recommended to ensure availability and minimize wait times. Walk-ins may be accepted when doctor availability allows, but calling ahead is always encouraged.
What should I bring to my pet's first appointment?
Please bring any previous medical records, vaccination history, medication information, and details about your pet's health concerns to help us provide the best care.
Do you provide veterinary care for exotic pets and birds?
Yes. Our team provides care for birds, rabbits, reptiles, and many pocket pets in addition to traditional companion animals such as dogs and cats.
What payment methods do you accept for veterinary services?
We accept major credit cards, cash, and checks. We also work with Scratchpay and accept all major pet insurance providers, along with Petassure.
Do you offer pet boarding while owners are traveling?
Yes. We offer boarding accommodations for dogs, cats, birds, and certain exotic pets with attentive supervision and individualized care throughout their stay.
What should I do if my pet has an urgent medical issue?
Call our office immediately to discuss your pet's condition. If emergency care is needed and a doctor is unavailable, we can direct you to trusted referral partners.
Are senior, military, or discount programs available?
Yes. Hat City Vets offers a 10% discount for senior citizens and military personnel. We also participate in the Petassure discount program.
